Sixth Annual Trash and Treasure Sale July 16

Bethlehem Lutheran Church will hold its Sixth Annual Trash and Treasure Sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, July 16. The sale features a variety of used items, including kitchenware, books, toys, games, furniture, computers, electronics, knick knacks, lawn equipment and more. Also, fresh-baked goods, garden produce, and RADA cutlery will be on sale. New this year—gently used clothes for all ages, available at bargain prices. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase.

Proceeds of the Trash and Treasure Sale will be used to fund improvement projects at the church. Bethlehem Lutheran Church is at 4620 20th St., Rockford, approximately one-half mile south of Sandy Hollow Golf Course.

Coming in September—Bethlehem’s Second Annual Finally Fall Festival, a neighborhood outreach event, will be held Saturday, Sept. 10. The Festival, featuring free musical entertainment, children’s games and activities, and refreshments, will be collecting non-perishable food items for Emmanuel Lutheran Food Pantry in lieu of an admission fee.
