‘Skool Skate’ helps schools raise funds

The SkoolSkate program at Rockford Park District’s Carlson Ice Arena is a way for students and their families to enjoy fun and exercise together, while helping schools raise funds. Schools can schedule indoor ice skating parties Sundays from 2 to 4 p.m. for $6 per person, which includes free skate rental and admission to Playworld for ages 12 and younger. Twenty-five percent of the total admission price collected will be returned to the students’ school. Reserve a date for your school now—dates are available on a first come, first served basis by calling Carlson Ice Arena in Loves Park at 969-4073 (TTY, 633-0637).
