St. Chad’s to host free Thanksgiving dinner

LOVES PARK—St. Chad’s Episcopal Church will host a free Thanksgiving turkey dinner from noon to 3 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 14. The traditional menu will feature turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, cranberries, and pumpkin pie.

“No one needs to be alone for the holiday,” said Marsha Bittman, co-chairman for the event, “and we hope that we can reach out to a lot of our neighbors with this dinner.”

Reservations are required, and can be made by calling the church at 633-6633.

St. Chad’s is at 6245 N. Second St., in Loves Park at the corner of North Second and Theodore streets.
