Route 66 Raceway near Chicago will host the Super Chevy Show Aug. 11-13.
The show is touted as a unique blend of high horsepower excitement and cool street and show cars flavored with one of the nations best auto performance malls. This will be the 13th stop of an 18-stop tour across America.
The Mickey Thompson Performance Tires and Wheels Nitro Coupe Challenge will highlight the racing action. These high-performance, short wheelbase nitro coupes can only be found at Super Chevy Shows.
Lou Pereira and his Terminator will challenge Jessie Harris and her Queen of Diamonds in a 7,000-horsepower jet dragster battle of the sexes.
Bob Hall, the king of wheel-standers, will bring his Airborne Express Astrovan from Maryland to thrill the fans with quarter-mile wheelies. The Chicago Super Stock Outlaws, famous for screaming 175 mile per hour runs in street-legal cars, will also be on the weekends schedule.
The Super Chevy Show offers the Car Corral, where pre-loved show cars, racecars and daily drivers will be on sale. It is also a great place to buy or sell that hard-to-find used car part.
The three-day show is expected to draw hundreds of race and show cars, thousands of spectators, vendors and swap meet participants. Fans can obtain a complete schedule and more information by logging on to www.superchevyshow.com or calling 800-692-6230.
