Tickets on sale for IceHogs' seventh season

Rockford IceHogs fans should mark their calendars for Monday, Sept. 25. Individual game tickets for the upcoming 2006-07 season will go on sale that morning at 9. The good news is, ticket prices for the 2006-07 season will remain the same as last year, $9, $13, $16 and $19.

In addition to regular season game tickets, fans will also be able to purchase tickets to the two exhibition games that will be held at the MetroCentre. Tickets may be purchased over the phone beginning at 9 a.m. by calling 968-5222. The MetroCentre box office will open at 10 a.m. for walk-up sales.

The ’Hogs will begin the preseason Friday, Oct. 6, against archrival Quad City Mallards. Game time is 7:30 p.m. They will take Saturday off and return to the home ice Sunday, Oct. 8, to face off against their newest rival, the Chicago Hounds. Game time Sunday is 5:05 p.m. Tickets for the two pre-season games are $7, and all children 7 and younger are free.

Fans can also purchase tickets for the regular season and the pre-season by logging on to The IceHogs will open their eighth season of professional hockey in Rockford Friday, Oct. 13, against the Fort Wayne Komets at 7:30 p.m.
