Tinker Swiss Cottage Museum has announced its seventh annual raffle of an heirloom-quality quilt.
This years queen-size quilt, New Beginnings, has been pieced and appliquéd by Donna Langford, Kammy Keyes, Linda Englund, Jackie Anderson and Judy Mullen. Elizabeth Williams is the quilter.
Tickets are on sale in the Tinker Museum Store and from members of the Board of Trustees. Tickets will also be available for sale at the Magic Lantern Victorian Halloween show at 7:30 p.m., Oct. 20, at Memorial Hall in Rockford. Tickets will be sold until Dec. 15, when the winning ticket will be drawn during the Victorian Tea that will take place at 3 p.m. in the Tinker Community Room. Five-thousand tickets are available and may be purchased for $1 each or six for $5.
Proceeds from the Seventh Annual Quilt Raffle will benefit the education programs offered by Tinker Swiss Cottage Museum and Gardens.
