Trinity Lutheran Church will continue its 20th anniversary of the Trinity Concert Series with a performance of the Wheaton College Womens Chorale at 3 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 25, in the sanctuary. The Chorale, composed of more than 60 students, has sung for enthusiastic audiences across the U.S. and abroad.
Under the guidance of accomplished director Mary Hopper, the groups central goal is to worship God with its musical offerings, to uplift audiences through shared ministry, and to enrich the college experience for ensemble members. Listeners far and wide have praised the ensemble for its superb music-making and Christian witness. Their newest recording, My Song Is Love Unknown, was released in fall 2002. This concert will appeal to audiences young and old.
The public is invited to this free concert, and the church is handicapped accessible. A free-will offering will be taken. A reception in Anderson Hall will follow the concert.
