UU Congregation to hold Service and Art Auction

The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Rock Valley will hold its first Service and Art Auction fund-raiser Saturday, June 2, at Historic Auto Attractions, 13825 Metric Drive in Roscoe. This location is east of Ill. 251 off Rockton Road.

Hours are 6 to 8:30 p.m. Items donated for the silent auction include: five hours of genealogy research with results on any family that will bid at least $50 or more; minestrone vegetarian soup; a dozen vegetarian tamales; a “face cord” of seasoned firewood, delivered and stacked anywhere in Boone, Ogle, Rock or Winnebago counties; brunch for 10 people delivered; one enameled 12-cup coffee pot; one 24" silver chain with graduated silver beads; one 24" x 36" wooden frame with glass, showing winter scene; one dozen handmade, hand-stamped greeting cards; a night at the Radisson Hotel with a $20 meal. Silent auction ends at 8 p.m.
