Learn about the rich history of the Rockford region while taking a walk around town. Choose from four different self-guided, narrated walking tours including: North End Commons, South End, River District and Mid Town District. Best of all, the tours are free and easy to access using an MP3 player or cell phone.
The MP3 audio file, along with the companion map, for each tour can be downloaded from the RACVBs Web site at www.gorockford.com. Preloaded MP3 players can also be checked out at the RACVB offices at 102 N. Main St. in downtown Rockford. To access the tours by cell phone, call (815) 749-TOUR (8687) to select a tour and receive directions about how to access the narration for each stop. no additional charge for the call except for your cell minutes.
