Winnebago Lutheran Mission holds celebration

Winnebago Lutheran Mission invites the public to join the celebration of their inaugural Service of Thanksgiving and Praise, reaching out to the community of Winnebago. The event takes place at 3 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 20, at the Winnebago Town Hall, 116 S. Benton St., Winnebago. The Rev. Robert H. Rub (retired pastor from Rockford’s Redeemer Lutheran) will officiate. After this initial service, regular Sunday worship services will be held at 9:30 a.m., including message and lessons for children and adults, at the Town Hall. Refreshments will be served following the inaugural service.
