World-traveled band featured at August Wood Song Concert

215 West has literally traveled the world performing in South America, North America, Europe and Asia. On Sunday, Aug. 15, they will bring their talents to Wood Song – Music in the Garden. The concert series is presented by Morgan Stanley.

This four-piece group consists of bass, guitar, drums and keyboards. All four men perform quality lead vocals and background harmonies. They pride themselves on strong music and sweet four-part vocal arrangements. It is not unusual to hear the group jump from Chicago Blues to ’40s Swing, Motown, current Top 40, Latin dance, ’70s disco and end up with a classic rock song.

Patrons are invited to bring their favorite picnic fare or pre-order from the Wood Song menu; and bring a blanket or lawn chair to enjoy the evening. Gourmet personal picnics are available by pre-order for all concerts.

General public admission tickets are available as follows: advance purchase $14 each and at the gate $16. Major credit cards are accepted, and phone orders are invited. Discount tickets are available for students with IDs and children at the gate. Gates open at 4 p.m. with concerts beginning at 6 p.m.
