YWCA Tech GYRLS fall session starts at North Suburban Library

The YWCA of Rockford Tech GYRL program for girls ages 13 to 15 starts at 1 to 3 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 6 through Nov. 17. Enrollment is limited to 15 girls. Pre-registration is required through North Suburban Library or the YWCA of Rockford. There is no fee. Girls will have the opportunity to work hands-on computer programs in graphic arts and Lego robotics. This program is designed to encourage girls to explore non-traditional careers in the fields of science and technology. This program has been funded in part through a grant from the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois.
