Winneshiek holds auditions July 27-28
FREEPORT, Ill.—Winneshiek Players have announced an open audition call for cast and crew for their production of And Then There Were None. Auditions will be at 7 p.m., Monday and Tuesday, July 27-28, at Winneshiek Playhouse, 228 W. Clark St., Freeport, Ill.
Winneshiek Board Member AmyJo Beightol directs this Agatha Christie mystery. Eight adult men and three adult women are needed for this production. Anyone interested in participating in backstage crew positions is encouraged to attend.
And Then There Were None is a mystery comedy about eight guests who are lured to an island. While there, statuettes of little soldier boys on the mantel fall to the floor and break one by one as those in the house succumb to a diabolical avenger. A nursery rhyme tells how each of the 10 “soldiers” met his death until there were none. A mysterious voice accuses each of having gotten away with murder, and then one drops dead—poisoned. One down, and nine to go!
And Then There Were None will be performed at 7:30 p.m., Sept. 18-19 and Sept. 24-26 at the Winneshiek Playhouse.
