Music in the Park continues in August at Sinnissippi

The Rockford Park District’s free Sounds of Summer Concert Series continues its popular music and entertainment programs. Enjoy the Music in the Park concerts Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. at the Sinnissippi Park Music Shell, 1401 N. Second St., Rockford. The August concert schedule is as follows:

Thursday, Aug. 6—Starlite Radio—a blend of folk and pop

Tuesday, Aug. 11—Piper Road Spring Band—Unique acoustic/bluegrass

Thursday, Aug. 13—Lynne Jordan and the Shivers—Chicago blues songstress
