Antiques and collectibles show Aug. 11-13 in Janesville, Wis.
From press release
JANESVILLE, Wis.—The American Rare Collectibles Association (ARCA) is making a stop at the Best Western, 3900 Milton Ave., in Janesville, Wis., from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesday-Thursday, Aug. 11-13.
The National Tour of the Antiques & Collectibles Roadshow is a free event, and those attending are encouraged to bring their collectibles to have them appraised or to sell them to collectors.
ARCA is composed of collectors who want to spend money on their favorite toy, doll, train, musical instrument, sword, pocket watch and collectible jewelry items. Collector members pay dues and fees to the association. Then, the staff purchases items for their collection based upon their requests.
All involved are willing to help identify the value of items for free, and also help local residents with information needed to sell their item.
Thousands of other people throughout the country donate their time to help the staff accumulate information and value. All items, whether expensive or ordinary, will be purchased.
