NLI presents ‘Creating a Green and Paperless Office’ Sept. 23 at Katie’s Cup
From press release
The Natural Land Institute’s Corporate Council invites you to learn about “Creating a Green and Paperless Office” from noon to 1 p.m., Sept. 23, at Katie’s Cup, at 502 Seventh St., Rockford.
Patrick Winter, director of information technology at Specialty Screw in Rockford, one of the most innovative and green companies in the area, will present the program. You’ll learn how he has been turning Specialty Screw into a paperless office over the past 24 years, and walk away with tips on reducing the amount of paper you use in your business.
The Natural Land Institute (NLI) is about more than planting trees and saving prairies. The business and corporate members also want to save energy, reduce CO2 and promote ways to eliminate waste. These efforts toward a greener workplace help to protect the natural world that we all need to survive.
The Corporate Council of the NLI brings together like-minded business leaders to share ideas and support the land conservation work of the institute.
Cost of lunch Sept. 23 is $10. The program is free. Reservations should be e-mailed to nli@aol.com by Sept. 21, or call (815) 964-6666.
