OSF’s ‘Fall Into Fitness’ program

The OSF SaintAnthony Center for Sports Medicine and Health Fitness is introducing a new program called
Fall Into Fitness

to be held from 1 to 1:30 p.m. on eight consecutive Tuesdays beginning Sept. 8 and continuing until Oct. 27.

The classes, which include informational sessions as well as activities, will be held at the OSF Center for Health, 5510 E. State St., in Rockford.

The health and fitness topics to be explored during the sessions include: Exercise and arthritis; exercise and heart disease; flexibility/benefits of yoga; strength for legs; exercise at home; strength for arms; core exercises; meal planning for one to two people; exercise and diabetes.

The fees for the program are $40 for all eight classes for OSF Center for Health Fitness members or $5 per class. For non-members, the cost is $55 for all eight classes or $7 for each class.
