U of I College of Medicine hosts ‘College Classics’ car show Sept. 13

The University of Illinois (U of I) College of Medicine at Rockford will host a College Classics car show Sunday, Sept. 13, at the Parkview Campus in Rockford.
Proceeds from the car show will go to the U of I Rockford Healthy Community Fund, which will help ensure quality patient care for everyone, including those who are uninsured or underinsured.
The event is produced by Cadwell Productions. Pre-registration is $10 at rockford.medicine.uic.edu. Same-day registration is $15. There will be dash plaques for the first 100 cars, trophies for best of show and best in class, music, food and raffles. Admission is $5 for adults. Children 12 and younger are admitted free.
The U of I College of Medicine at Rockford has served the area since 1971 as a regional academic health science center. The university clinics are in Rockford, Rockton, Belvidere and Mt. Morris. For more information about the car show or the university clinics, call Cynthia Hall at (815) 395-5920.
