Jim Brickman (www.jimbrickman.com) and special guests arrive at 8 p.m., Friday, Nov. 20, at Coronado Performing Arts Center in Rockford.
Brickman’s Beautiful World creates a musical celebration for audiences seeking an escape from the hectic demands of the season.
Ticket prices are $55 for Orchestra and Lower Balcony, $45 for Upper Balcony rows AA-JJ and $35 for Upper Balcony rows KK-SS. Tickets are on sale at the Coronado Box Office, online at www.coronadopac.org or by calling (815) 968-0595.
Brickman will introduce fans to Beautiful World, plus a few of his favorite holiday songs from classic to contemporary. His evening of dazzling solo piano, vibrant vocals, plus warmth and humor with very special guests, sold more than 40,000 tickets last year.
Brickman will showcase some brand-new music blended with some fan favorites.
“I know you’ll enjoy hearing all the hits, new songs that I know will become your favorites, and some great holiday music because it’s that time of year,” Brickman said. “Getting ready for the holiday season is my favorite time of the year, and celebrating across the country with the audiences makes it that much more special.”
Beautiful World is inspired by Brickman’s unique gift of bridging borders, cultural divides with themes of friendship and happiness through his music.
“When you imagine holidays and the days leading up to the big morning, chances are holiday music is the soundtrack in your mind.” Brickman said. “My favorite music of all time is written for the holiday season. Fitting that throughout the season celebrating peace on earth, goodwill to men, we will be spreading cheer on the Beautiful World tour.”
