Protests expected at City Hall, library board to vote on reorganization plan

A protest against city cuts in services is expected to begin at 5 p.m., tonight (Monday, Sept. 28), outside Rockford City Hall, 425 E. State St.
Additionally, the Rockford Public Library Board of Trustees is expected to meet at 6:15 p.m., tonight (Monday, Sept. 28) to vote on the library reorganization plan. The meeting will be at the East Branch, 6685 E. State St., the former Barnes & Noble building.
