‘Arts for Life’ Oct. 9 at Rockford College’s Maddox Theatre

At 7 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 9, individual artists and companies will volunteer their talents to present “Arts for Life,” a concert at Rockford College’s Maddox Theatre benefiting Crusader Clinic, nCenter, Janet Wattles, and Barbara Olson School of Hope.
The event will feature dance styles such as ballet, modern dance, jazz, Argentine tango and live music. A reception will follow the performances.
Performers include Aloha Hula girls, Maria E. Castello and Jacques Saint-Cyr, Joey Claeyssen and Susan Belles, DanceLoop Chicago, DanceReach, Rockford Dance Company, Social Motion, Edgar Stiltner, The Space Movement Project and Without Shoes Modern Dance Company.
Tickets are $25 at the door, $20 with a donation of a personal care item. Advance tickets are $20 and are available at the Rockford Dance Company by calling (815) 963-3341.
Maddox Theatre is inside the Clark Arts Center on the Rockford College campus, 5050 E. State St., Rockford.
