Merchandise from Rockford Art Museum’s (RAM) Hollis Sigler: Expect the Unexpected exhibition is on sale at the RAM Store.

Items include a 96-page, full-color, bound exhibition catalogue for $25; the Hollis Sigler Breast Cancer Journal for $45; and a set of 10 notecards for $18.50. Pre-wrapped catalogue and notecard sets are available. Shipping is available for all items for a $5 charge.

Hollis Sigler: Expect the Unexpected, curated by Patty Rhea and organized by RAM in collaboration with the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs, celebrates the deeply personal imagery of Chicago artist and feminist Hollis Sigler (1948-2001).

The exhibit marks the first retrospective of the final two decades of work by this acclaimed artist. The exhibition will be on display through Jan. 10, 2010, at RAM, and then travel to the Chicago Cultural Center after its debut at RAM.

Opening in October to coincide with National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, this exhibition includes selections from Sigler’s autobiographical Breast Cancer Journal, which chronicled her struggle with the disease that eventually took her life.
