Bruce Larson, retirement plan services client relationship manager, was promoted to assistant vice president at Rockford-based AMCORE Bank. He works with employers to provide guidance in maintaining the program and educating participants on the benefits of saving for retirement and general investment concepts. Larson has NASD Series 6, 7, and 63 securities licenses and life and health insurance producers’ licenses. … Jim Hughes joined Associated Bank as a vice president/commercial portfolio manager. Hughes will manage the bank’s Rockford-area commercial banking portfolio, and ensure the retention and expansion of client relationships. … Janyce Fadden, president of the Rockford Area Economic Development Council, was recently honored as the Northwestern Illinois Building and Construction Trades Council’s Person of the Year. Fadden was selected for her commitment to growth and economic development across the Rock River Valley.
