Grace Funeral & Cremation Services hosts bus trip to Galena

Grace Funeral & Cremation Services invites those who need to get a head start on their holiday shopping to join them on a chartered bus trip to historic Galena, Ill., Friday, Nov. 13, 2009.
My husband and I are new to the area and wanted to meet people in the community,
explains Kristan McNames, co-owner, with her husband, Bob McNames, of Grace Funeral & Cremation Services.
This will be an excellent way for people to get to know us, as well as a great opportunity for people to have some fun, spend time with their families and make some memories, not to mention get some of their holiday shopping done.
The chartered Van Galder tour bus leaves Grace Funeral & Cremation Services (1340 S. Alpine Road., Rockford) at 8:30 a.m. and returns at 6 p.m. The group will head to Galena Canning company to meet Chef Ivo, taste some samples, and shop. From there, lunch will be served at Vinny Vanucchi’s Little Italy, with plenty of time built in for shopping and spending time with friends and familyor to make new friends. There will also be an optional behind-the-scenes tour and tasting at the Galena Cellars and Winery.
