Rangel's bill to lift the U.S. embargo against Cuba as it relates to agricultural products, medical exports, and the travel ban (H.R. 1531). The best way to end the travel embargo to Cuba would be for Americans to go there, from third countries as necessary, without permission, by the thousands and thousands, and flaunt it. Prosecution would flood the courts and soon put an end to this hypocrisy (Carlos M. Gutierrez, GW Bush's Miami Cuban Secretary of the U.S. Department of Commerce, was fiercely and vocally opposed to ending the embargo against Communist Cuba but supported "free trade" with Communist China). Likewise, the best way for the people to get health care would be for thousands and thousands of us who have health care insurance to cancel, immediately, and demand a single payer system.
