IceHogs block party moved to after game

Classic rockers, Night Ranger, will headline tonight's Rockford IceHogs post-game celebration following tonight's game against Milwaukee.

Rain has prompted MetroCentre officials to move the Rockford IceHogs block party, Hogtoberfest, featuring Night Ranger, to after the 7:05 p.m. game against the Milwaukee Admirals. The party and concert will take place inside the arena and is now being billed as a post-game celebration.
Special $5 tickets to the event will be sold during the third period, MetroCentre officials said.
Night Ranger is known for selling more than 16 million albums and breaking out in the ’80s with hits like “Sentimental Street,” “Goodbye,” “Sister Christian” and “Rumors in the Air.” The band will take the stage immediately following the game.
The Rockford IceHogs (4-3-1-0) are currently in third place in the Western Division of the American Hockey League’s Western Conference. Milwaukee (2-2-0-1) is in sixth place.
The first 4,000 fans into the MetroCentre for tonight’s game will get a free “Make ‘Em See Red” long sleeve t-shirt.
