From press release

The Rock River Center Stump Jumpers hiking group explored the pastures, spring and canyon at White Pines Ranch Oct. 1. White Pines Ranch is a favorite destination for this group, and this year a picnic was part of their invigorating fall day.

Sue and John Andrew and Richard Little of White Pines Ranch joined the group and shared their knowledge of the many different plants and trees as well as the history of the ranch.

Guests at the ranch on the day the Stump Jumpers visited ranged in age from 8 years to 92. This exceptional family-owned Oregon business serves people of all ages, providing both education and recreation.

The Rock River Center Stump Jumpers spend a few hours exploring different parks and natural areas the first Thursday of each month, April-November. If you have questions or would like to be a part of this group, call Melody Welty at Rock River Center (815) 732-3252.
