URGENT: Police ask for assistance in finding missing 17-year-old Roscoe girl

ROSCOE, Ill.—The Roscoe Police Department would like assistance in locating and checking the welfare of Brooke VanBriesen, 17, of Roscoe.

The department has received information that VanBriesen is possibly in the company of 31-year-old Michael Richins.  Richins is an Asian male, 5 feet, 8 inches tall, 180 pounds, black hair and brown eyes.

Roscoe Police believe they are in a red BMW with Wisconsin registration: “999NJT.”

VanBriesen is a white female, 5 feet, 5 inches tall, 100 pounds, blue eyes and blond hair.  She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a blue coat and pink slippers. However, her mother described Brooke’s outfit as blue jeans, a light blue sweater with a white tank top, and a gray-and-white-checkered wool coat. Miller said VanBriesen was not wearing pink slippers.
