Literacy Council book fair Dec. 5 at Barnes & Noble

From press release

Saturday, Dec. 5, The Literacy Council will hold a book fair at the CherryVale Barnes & Noble store. The book fair will run from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., full store hours for the day.

For patrons who provide voucher number 555508 to any U.S. Barnes & Noble store at the time of purchase, a percentage of the sale will go to The Literacy Council.

This is a great time to shop for holiday gifts, annual purchases of business/training materials, and dessert orders. The offer includes all purchases of books including special orders, café and gift items except gift cards and online.

Can’t decide what to buy? TLC will have a wish list of book needs for those who want to make purchases for the Council. A drawing of the 50/50 Raffle Fund-raiser winners will take place at noon.

Local author Ted Iverson, who wrote Mission to the Stars, will be doing a book signing from 1 to 4 p.m.

Council employees and volunteers will hold answer question about Council services and free gift wrapping of purchases.
