Sheriff’s Department asks for assistance in locating runaway juvenile

Peyton D. Borden, 14 years old, has been missing since Sept. 23, 2009, when he ran away from the Winnebago County Courthouse at 420 W. State St. He left from the hallway while a custody hearing was taking place and was not in custody at any time.

Borden—5 feet, 2 inches tall, 116 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair—was last seen wearing a black vest with a green shirt and tie, black pants and black shoes.
