Leadership In Action, a company specializing in individual and organizational growth, will present an intensive, one-day life-coaching seminar at Rock Valley College Saturday, Jan. 30. The seminar is part of Rock Valley College’s Community and Continuing Professional Education Spring 2010 class offerings. The seminar is an excellent self-development tool for recent graduates, individuals transitioning between career fields, and anyone seeking to improve their life.
Stop Dancing and Plant Your Feet
is the essence of Leadership In Action’s message as Ian Gregory and Karen Redieske, Leadership In Action (LIA) facilitators, take participants on a six-hour, interactive journey of self-discovery and personal growth. Participants will examine four basic questions during the day, including 1) Who are you and what do you want?; 2) Where are you and how did you get there?; 3) Where are you going and how do you get there?; and 4) Who is going to help you? In addition, Karen and Ian will discuss related topics helping participants achieve their goals, including the need for mentors;

; and the importance of developing a plan so your life is proactive, not reactive.
