PECATONICA, Ill.—At the annual meeting of Pec Playhouse Theatre (PPT) members Friday, Jan. 15, President Glen Wiegert opened the meeting with roll call, and established a quorum. He announced the building that was purchased in December 2004 was paid off in full in December 2009. A mortgage burning party will be held later, he said.

April will bring the annual high school production, this year, Love Rides the Rails, a rip-roaring, Ol’ West meller-drammer. The summer musical is still to be announced, but the drama in the fall will be 12 Angry Men. Closing their 20th season will be Yes Virginia, There is a Santa Claus.
Pamela Barkdoll was elected for a vacated one-year term. Rita McGeary, Neal TerHark and Rick Smith were elected for two-year terms. Remaining board members are: Glen Wiegert, Laura Wiegert, Lori Chappell, Terry Bouray and Michael Dice.
PPT has many opportunities for the public, young and old, to participate. Volunteers can act in the plays, help build sets, do painting, lighting and sound, coordinate costumes, sell advertising, work the box office, usher and work backstage. There are places for the talents of anyone in the community. Visit the Web site at www.pecplayhouse.org or call (815) 239-1210 for tickets or information about volunteering.
