Bliss Building restores vintage entry

The historic Bliss Building, 317 Mulberry St., improved the view of the River District with all-new windows last year. This year, owners Hans Rupert (in doorway on left) and Amy Young, assisted by the talents of noted local craftsman David Oakes, did a fine job of restoring the doorway and the period awning and lighting of the building’s entry. Rupert and Young have accomplished extensive interior improvements as well, offering condo spaces on a “build-to-suit” basis, call (815) 505-1192. The neighbors are pleased and impressed.
