Seizures have been known to occur in persons after them being subjected to high temperatures without adequate hydration. And no offense to "Dr" Julia, and a non-understanding to the doc you saw, but this seems the most likely culprit. And why weren't you keeping your kid properly hydrated and fed? Every doctor I've ever had, and in fact, every newscast I've ever seen, has warned about the dangers of not being properly hydrated in cases of extreme heat.
