U of I Extension hosts Feb. 17 workshop at Winnebago library

The University of Illinois Extension—Winnebago County will offer the workshop Hightunnels and Hoophouses: A Guide to Season Extension from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 17, at the Winnebago Public Library, 210 N. Elida St., Winnebago, Ill.
Kari Houle, University of Illinois Extension, unit educator, horticulture, will be conducting the workshop. This very informative workshop will provide participants with information about construction of hoophouses and hightunnels, budgeting and marketing potential. This information is applicable to both market farms and backyard gardeners.
