The Illinois Small Business Development Center at Rock Valley College is offering a “Disaster Preparedness Workshop” from 1 to 2:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 18 (lunch provided) at the EIGERlab, 605 Fulton Ave., Rockford.
A disaster can strike anywhere and anytime. While some are predictable, some happen quickly and without warning. It is vital that you understand what a disaster could mean for your business.
The focus of the IL SBDC’s Disaster Preparedness Program is to ensure that businesses in Winnebago County have the education, training and assistance needed to minimize loss and increase survivability when affected by natural and/or man-made disasters. They are ready to assist you in developing a comprehensive Business Disaster Preparedness Plan at no charge.
