Winneshiek Playhouse hosts Open Mic Feb. 20

FREEPORT, Ill.—Got Talent? Want 15 minutes of fame? Winneshiek Playhouse, 228 W. Clark St., Freeport, will host an Open Mic beginning at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 20. All performers must be “family friendly” and all styles of entertainment are welcome, whether that be a rock band, singer/songwriter, poet, a spoken word artist, juggler, magician or comedian.

Performers should sign up at 7 p.m. and they will get 15 minutes of stage time. Those wishing to attend the event will pay what they want for admission, and snacks will be available for purchase from Cole’s Bakery.
