<description>In 2002 I took a trip the QE2 from Sydney to my home port of Cape Town a fellow diner was Seth Atwood, been and engineer I shared many interesting conversations with Seth on a wide range of subjects, cocktails parties in the officer wardroom,in Cape Town I was able to take him up Table Mountain and arrange a helicopter trip. Sadly our paths never cross again until I typed his name into Google to see if I could locate him to then find out who he actually was, he was certainly a man of quality and I was provilaged to share some time with him.

		<description>Mr Woodell.

If you are looking on information on Emilian Wehrle and his clocks please feel free to contact me through my website at www.blackfoerestclocks.org.

We have many clocks made by Emilian Wehrle &amp; Co. in the collection, along with original factory literature.

The story about the American motif trumpeter clock with eagle, shield, and &quot; E. Pluribus Unum&quot; I find interesting.

The clock you are referencing is a model #6 in the firms catalog and was widely available for purchase during the last quarter of the 19th century.

It carried a wholesale price of 125 marks.

We have the original catalog and price list here and would be happy to share it with you.

Best,

		<description>dear sir,
i understand that mr. atwood had and emilian wehrle trumpeter clock in his collection at the clock tower inn. i have found one of these clocks that is missing the weights. could you possibly tell me when the auctions of the clocks were held? in seeing this clock i would know what weights are proper for my clock. there were only 12 of these clocks made by mr. wehrle, they have and american motiff and were presented to the officials of philadelphia during the 1877 american centennial exposition.
              thank you

		<description>Frank and Webbs,
I very much appreciate your comments about Seth B., Seth G., Barbara and my brother, Bruce. It really has been a multi-generational interest in the Rockford area. Although my sister and I do not live in the area, one of my sons has moved to Winnebago County and is working on agricultural and conservation related projects.
Best Regards, Seth Lang Atwood</description>
