Sue Johnson's excellent coverage of the presentations at the Feb. 20th Tea Party Town Hall at Stockholm Inn was a credit to her journalistic talent and mastery of detail. We purposely kept presentations short at the event, hoping to whet the public's appetite for information, and I think we succeeded. Our first Tea Party meeting as Northern IL Tea Party in Roscoe on Feb. 25th was well attended, and we have ideas for citizen action to turn this boat around! Our next meeting will be the 18th of March. Thank you, Rock River Times, for the excellent coverage.

Aside from the rampant, simplistic soliloquies I've come to expect from the teabagging crowd, I would think that this highly biased "information" should appear in the opinion section and not be sold as "news". It is not written in an objective manner, it is highly sympathetic in tone, it is basically an opinion piece. That's where this should be.
