To the Editor: Correcting distortions of criticism

March 3, 2010

I am sorry that Mr. James Spelman needs to resort to distortions in his criticism of some Christians (Feb. 10-16, 2010 issue). The most stunning error is when he states that “without exception, all creeds espouse the principle… to respect each other.” Is he not aware of the accepted subjugation of women by Muslims and the requirement in Islam to either kill, convert or enslave the Infidel? The Muslim apostate, however, is given no such option and must be put to death.
