March 9 deadline for Magic Waters’ ‘Name the Wave Pool’ contest

This summer, Magic Waters Waterpark will introduce a new wave system with bigger and better waves. To kick off this new enhancement, the waterpark is holding a “Name the Wave Pool” contest.

“Our current wave pool system is over 25 years old. We are excited to enhance our wave pool with a system that provides various levels of wave activity from a comfortable 1-foot wave pattern to a thundering ocean wave. This new wave system will bring a renewed excitement to our waterpark, and we would like assistance from the community in renaming our wave pool,” said Magic Waters Aquatic Director Jessica Steinberg.

To submit your suggested wave pool name, visit www.magicwaterswaterpark.com to enter. Entries must be received by Tuesday, March 9.

The winning name selection will receive the following:

• One Magic Waters 2010 season pass

• One free Basic Cabana rental (valid during 2010 season)

• You and four friends will be the first to “ride the waves” in the new wave pool.
