NIU hosts open house Friday, April 2

DEKALB, Ill.—Northern Illinois University (NIU) will hold an open house for prospective students, families and friends from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Friday, April 2, in the Holmes Student Center, Lucinda Avenue and Normal Road, DeKalb, Ill.

Visitors to the DeKalb campus will have an opportunity to meet faculty and representatives from academic departments, admissions, student services and financial aid. Open house activities include a campus bus tour, residence hall visits and a university information fair.

Many of NIU’s academic colleges and departments also will host individual events during the day.

No reservations are needed for the open house or any connected activities. Morning arrival is strongly recommended to enjoy the range of program options. Free parking will be provided at the Convocation Center with shuttle buses to the Holmes Student Center.
