10 Mile Run for Habitat for Humanity

The 25th Annual Amy Johnson Classic 10 Mile and 5 K Runs will be held on Saturday, April 3, beginning from Harlem High School. All proceeds raised will benefit Rockford Area Habitat for Humanity. Organizers anticipate more than 300 runners will compete in both races.
The 10-mile race will begin at 8:30 a.m. from Harlem High School. The course will take runners along Willow Creek Path and into scenic and hilly Rock Cut State Park and back to the school. The 5-kilometer race will begin at 8:40 a.m. It is a flat and fast out-and-back course along the Willow Creek Path.
Participants can register for $22 in advance at www.rockfordhabitat.org [1] or between 7 and 8 a.m. on race day in the Harlem High School gym. The entry fee is $30 with a discount for students after March 30. Any runner who sets a new course record will receive $250. See course records at www.rockfordhabitat.org [1].
