RC’s ‘Admit Day’ March 25 features on-the-spot admittance, scholarships
From press release
It used to be that applying for college and getting scholarships was a long, drawn-out process. Not so at Rockford College, where prospective students can be admitted and receive scholarships all in one visit during the college’s Undergraduate Admit and Scholarship Day, from 4-7 p.m., March 25, in the college’s Burpee Center.
The day is part of the college’s effort to make admittance to the college convenient and seamless. Prospective students need only bring their transcripts for high school or college work for potential admittance on-the-spot. As a bonus, scholarships can be awarded as well.
“What we’re trying to do is remove obstacles in the admission process for the convenience of prospective students,” says Rebecca Miziniak, assistant director of admission. “Applying to college, while a decision not to be taken lightly, should not be complicated. Admit Day is kind of a one-step approach.”
