I hope some of the politicians that vote for this end up getting caught in a sex scandal a la Elliot Spitzer and then we can see what hypocrites they really are. Why doesn’t Rep. While there are examples of violence in prostitution, a large community actually chooses to be prostitutes and are not the subject of violence. In addition, this bill makes doctors, lawyers, policemen and firemen, and middle-class workers who are otherwise law-abiding into criminals. Is this what is best for the State of Illinois?
