Former Chicago Bulls star Dennis Rodman will be at Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery from 6:30 to 9 p.m., Friday, April 9. The restaurant is at Clock Tower Resort & Conference Center, 7801 E. State St., Rockford.

Rodman, known as “The Worm” and “Dennis the Menace” during his playing days, will meet with fans and sign glossies, mini-basketballs, regulation-size basketballs and jerseys April 9 at Tilted Kilt. Single autographs are $60 and a VIP meet-and-greet, which includes a one-on-one photo and autograph, is $104.

During his 14-year NBA career, Rodman won five NBA championships—two with the Detroit Pistons in 1989 and 1990 and three with the Chicago Bulls from 1996 to 1998. He made two All-Star appearances (1990 and 1992), won two NBA Defensive Player of the Year awards (1990 and 1991) and was a seven-time rebound champion (1992-1998). He ranks fifth all-time in offensive rebounds, 18th all-time in defensive rebounds, and 22nd all-time in career rebounds.

Off the court, Rodman, 48, is a part-time professional wrestler, actor and author. He had his own TV show, The Rodman World Tour, and had roles in the films Simon Sez and Double Team alongside Jean-Claude Van Damme. He appeared in several reality TV series, was the winner of the $222,000 main prize of the 2005 edition of Celebrity Mole, and won the first-ever Celebrity Championship Wrestling tournament.

Rodman is the author of four books—Rebound: The Dennis Rodman Story (1994), Bad as I Wanna Be (1996), Walk on the Wild Side (1997) and I Should Be Dead by Now (2005).
