Auburn students offer Hollywood Nights May 6-7
From press release
The Auburn High School Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA) dance and theater classes and the technical theater classes of Auburn Freshman Campus (AFC) will present Hollywood Nights, a tribute to Michael Jackson and Patrick Swayze. The show will be performed at 7 p.m., Thursday and Friday, May 6-7, in the AFC Auditorium. General admission is $5, and preschool children are admitted free.
Hollywood Nights is a showcase of both performance and technical talent. Special choreographic works honoring the lives of Jackson and Swayze will be presented by the CAPA dance students. The entire show will be hosted in Oscar style by the CAPA theater students, in front of a set built by students of the technical theater classes. The entire cast and crew of more than 60 freshmen arts students, under the direction of Lou Ann Alberts, promises to be a wonderful evening of entertainment.
