I just read your article on the storm-water managment huddle... great coverage.
I am so glad to see this moving in a positive direction.
As a petition drive leader, it was a lot of work, but we knew it was a much bigger problem that needed to be fought than the few people that were going to pay the bill of 1.6 million.
I am so glad to see this being brought to the attention of Rockford and Winnebago Cty as well as Cherry Valley.
I had sent pictures to Scott Christiansen of the water issues behind my house during a bad storm and explained to him , how it directly flows from the northwest area, which is Rockford, and dumps into Madigan Creek and flows behind Menards. It is torrential. It takes down fences and flows fast enough to  take a child away.
I am planning on working on this issue with Bonnie Whitmer and the people mentioned in the article.

This will most definitely promote the work needed to solve this issue. An issue that should have been addressed long before now.
