R.I.P. Productions offers ‘The ScareZone’ Seminar May 7

R.I.P. Productions, the creator of the Trail of Screams, Screamatorium and Fear Asylum Haunted House will hold “The ScareZone” Seminar from 4-5:30 p.m., Friday, May 7, at Auburn High School, 5110 Auburn St., Rocford. This seminar will feature stomach-turning demonstrations on a variety of “gory” techniques including gruesome gore, latex applications, special effects makeup and hands-on demonstrations that will teach you how to create the most gruesome, horrible and disgusting creatures! This seminar series is open to students, haunted attraction actors, owners/operators and anyone interested in attending. R.I.P.
Productions will also be looking for a few good “victims” to join their makeup crew for the 2010 haunt season.
R.I.P. Productions has hosted, organized and facilitated various seminars for haunt owners and actors throughout the area since 2005, teaching professional makeup techniques, character development and scare techniques. This seminar will be held in Auburn’s Room 719, Door Q, at the west end of the building.
Trail of Screams has been voted one of the Top Ten Haunted Attractions in Illinois in 2005, 2007 and 2008 by HauntedIllinois.com!
