Your Horoscope: Week of May 5-11, 2010
This Week: Well, we are just about in the clear now of annoying astral clutter. Just hang in there—better days are coming. We start with Mercury retrograde going direct Tuesday, May 11—a day to watch for turbulence, fender-benders and agitated humanity. When Mercury moves in and out of retrograde, it’s at its highest power. From there, we follow up with a positive new moon in Taurus Thursday, May 13, that provides new opportunities for growth and development. This will also follow us into a wonderful weekend filled with social engagements and humor. This will be one well-deserved break from the past three weeks of conflict and strife. Enjoy!
Aries (March 21 to April 19)—Romantic elements that have appeared to be on the back burner for many of my Aries friends are shifting for the better. The deadlock that has created this emotional stagnation is moving on. You have a long-term goal regarding your personal life, and you’re able to see the light at the end of the tunnel. A new work opportunity will be presenting itself as well. Finances are improving through the summer months.
Taurus (April 20 to May 20)—The new moon in your sign May 13 will provide you with some insight to further your personal and professional goals. You will also find yourself in a delightful mood that appears to be contagious for those around you. Finances have been a sore subject for you over the last few years. Now, either through creative financing or help from legal elements, things begin to shift for the better.
Gemini (May 21 to June 20)—This heavy heart that has been weighing on you recently will take a turn for the better. Attention from the opposite sex as well as accolades from your employer allow you to see your value is worth your weight in gold. Gatherings with friends and family prove to be filled with love and humor this week. Embrace the emotional support from others.
Cancer (June 21 to July 22)—Try not to get sucked into a battle with a co-worker or associate this week. Bite your tongue, and keep your head low. You will find karma plays an interesting role with those around you who have not made proper contributions to humanity. Allow the universe to handle this one on its own. Romantic elements begin to pick up the pace. Enjoy.
Leo (July 23 to Aug. 22)—You can’t figure out why you have been so sensitive this past week. There are obvious reasons, but the intensity of it all does not make much sense to you. Expect this energy to begin to lift by week’s end. You will notice the spring is back in your step, as well as your wicked sense of humor those around you love so much.
Virgo (Aug. 23 to Sept. 22)—If you have not taken the initiative to heal a problem or an emotional issue with another, then what is the point in giving them the stink eye on top of it? If it really doesn’t matter that much, move on. If it does matter to you, then take the initial steps to fix it. Don’t expect another to come back within your space to get more of the same behavior. Finances may be a pressing issue now. Expect this to resolve itself by the end of the year.
Libra (Sept. 23 to Oct. 22)—A family member may be in need of some emotional support. Make sure you allow him or her to see what his or her participation in the problem is, although it would be best to do this with delicate diplomacy. Highly-charged emotions run rampant this week. Don’t push your opinion too severely—use the gentle cycle.
Scorpio (Oct. 23 to Nov. 21)—Pay extra attention to the emotional welfare of a friend or family member this week. Someone who is near and dear to your heart is going through a really rough time; he or she could use your love and support. Even if you don’t know what to say, just being there will be appreciated. This month provides you with a great opportunity within your career sector. Grab the brass ring.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22 to Dec. 21)—Your heart and schedule have been so heavy that it’s been hard to be the sunny Sagittarius everyone knows and loves. Expect this to take a turn for the better in the next few weeks. Your hopes, dreams and ambitions for your loved ones will begin to fall into place this month. There will be plenty of reasons to celebrate. Your financial picture is over-the-top dynamic. Maybe you need to treat yourself to something special that you have been longing for, as well as setting some money aside for a rainy day.
Capricorn (Dec. 22 to Jan. 19)—Don’t push the envelope too far this week within your current work environment. Emotions run high, and you do not want to get caught in the crossfire of someone else’s temper. Wait until after the 11th to diplomatically discuss your concerns. You will be in the right emotional state to present yourself in the best possible light.
Aquarius (Jan. 20 to Feb. 18)—You have been feeling a bit sensitive and even a bit leery recently of the intentions of others. This is OK, because your intuition is working with you to protect your interests. Now, you will be able to notice those who are working toward your own good as opposed to those who are working against it. Take some time out for a weekend getaway or even a day trip. It will allow you to clear your head of any emotional clutter.
Pisces (Feb. 19 to March 20)—You have been feeling as though you have made some serious mistakes in your past that are hurting you emotionally now. You need to stop beating up on yourself and let it go. In the long run, you have learned a tremendous amount of knowledge to help you in the future. No one can ever take your gifts away from you. Home and family need a little TLC. Be good to yourself. You deserve it.
